Donate Now and Change Lives
Our future is in our young people, and sadly, there are fewer activities available for their generation than we enjoyed while we were growing up. Funding for the Arts has been cut dramatically in our schools and in our communities.
The Spirit of Phoenix, along with the Far Western District, the Barbershop Harmony Society, and the Harmony Foundation have gone to great meaures to help boys and girls, young men and women, and music educators maintain successful music programs in our schools. Through our Youth Outhreach program, we offier music, coaching, scholarships, music camps, and youth festivals to help young people in the Phoenix area discover the life-long thrill of singing.
We are investing in our youth. We are investing in our future.
Barbershop can change lives, and you can help.
Music They Love to Sing
Barbershop harmony is fun to sing, fits well into curriculum on part independence, and is always a hit on stage. High-quality learning tracks dramatically cut time on paper and demonstrate good balance and intonation. Thousands of titles span folk, theater, sacred, and pop styles that are perfect for concert or solo/ensemble contest.
Camps and Clinics
WE BRING THE MUSIC TO YOUR SINGERS. Energetic, relatable quartets and trained, credentialed clinicians bring close harmony to hundreds of camps and workshops across the continent. Singers enjoy a fun, safe environment while learning healthy singing technique, high-energy performance, and addictive repertoire.
Youth Chorus Festival
Motivate singers with a premier destination event for men's ensembles. The International Youth Barbershop Chorus Festival features adjudicated festival performances, master classes, and a thundering audience of fans. Generous underwriting covers lodging and fees, making this an affordable trip that will be a peak performance moment.
